Abstract:This paper states systematically the basic theory of expert system,and describes the developing process and its application in the domain of fault diagnosis of power transformer.Together with practical contents of TFDES, the paper analyses the construction of knowledge base, the general modules structure, the fault diagnosis process and others. The paper finally precents the experiences derived from the development of TFDES.
