Abstract:This paper introduces the way to apply the reliability science, a new and developing edging science, into the high voltage apparatus design, describes the reliability and its design calculation and operational procedure, takes the mechtronie product sectionalizer as an example to
show the application, feasibility, reasonableness and optimization of the reliability design at large, provides its principle and method to adopt the reliability and its design in high voltage apparatus in the future.
