Abstract:This is an investigation report dealing with college English teaching method and the communicative competence of college students.Under the traditional teaching method, students are inactive and less cooperative. They tend to evade participation in communication, which has become a key problem to be solved in the teaching innovation to enhance the students' self-consciousness and help them to be successful in communication.
