Abstract:With the development of modern power system and the increasing popularity of computers and the improvement of computing techniques, the rank of the network voltage is increasing and more and more new electrical elements and new controlling techniques are emerging, software is needed to simulate power systems accurately. This article discusses and compares these main software in terms of their functions, characteristics, their advantages and disadvantages.
