Abstract:This article introduces the capability of amorphous core transformer(AMT), comparing the capability of economic benefit between AMT and S9 type transformer, calculating the number of years of reclaiming investment compared to the S9 type transformer in the same capacity. It calculates the cost of per load that AMT has realized in the whole operation period. Finally, the article suggests principles for choosing alternatives of the AMT in project application.
