Abstract:The boot loader is the first piece of program run after a computer is powered on,which is mainly aimed at initializing system hardware and booting up operating system,and it is highly dependent on hardware.The U-Boot boot loader porting process for an application system is introduced based on PowerPC440EPx,also the system characteristics,the configuration of U-Boot parameters and system power on parameters are discussed.
