Abstract:Amy Lowell is one of the leading figures of American Imagist Movement.She has translated many Chinese poems and published poetry anthology named Fir-flower Tablets. Her translation strategy influenced by oriental art is precise and creative,and presents the image beauty of Chinese poetry in the aspects of semantics and aesthetics.Fir-flower Tablets enables her to establish Imagist creed and enjoy high reputation in American poetic circles.
