中文摘要: 对OCLC这一世界上最大的图书馆网络的联机编目系统作了较为详尽的介绍, 分析了OCLC联机编目的特色, 认为随着因特网的日益普及, 我国编目界也必将走联机编目这条路, 为此我们应在思想上有一个充分的认识和准备, 并且做好我国自己相应的数据库的建设工作．只有这样, 我国的联机编目才能真正与国际接轨．
Abstract:The paper first introduces in detail the on-line cataloguing in the OCLC(i.e. the largest library network in the world)and then analysis its characterristics, finally the paper concludes that the cataloguing circles in China will take on-line cataloguing with the popularization of the Internet, so it is essential to have adequate preparation not only in people's minds, but also in their action and to build good quality database.Only in this way, can the on-line Cataloguing reach the international level.
