Abstract:This paper introduces the operation situation of WFBZ type microcomputer-based protection of the Wangting power plant 300MW generator-transformer unit, and points out some arguments about generator-transformer protection such as rotor one-point earth protection, rotor two- points earth protection, stator circle short circuit protection,generator excitation loss protection and impedance protection.
