Abstract:Gas-solid multi-phase flows in curved pipes with different angles and curvatures are simulated upon the kinetic theory of granular medium, which is based on the Euler model. Flowing parameters of the multi phase flow are obtained. The effect of the angles and curvatures of the curved pipes on the particle separation is analyzed. Numerical simulation adopting CFD software provides an effective method to study multi-phase flow characteristics of primary air in combustion system of power plant boilers.
