Abstract:With the transformation of the domestic ancillary services market, the performance assessment standards for grid-connected units of the state and region has becoming more stringent, and the power grid dispatching center generally uses remote system to monitor and assess the performance of frequency modulation in power plants, and power plants lack the means to detect frequency modulation and peak shaving problem. In order to improve the ability of grid-connected generator sets to support the stable and safe operation of the power grid,an on-line monitoring and evaluation system of primary frequency modulation and AGC performance assessment of grid-connected units based on power plant environment is proposed, and the adjustment ability of the primary frequency modulation and AGC is evaluated. The results shows the system has achieved the design goal.
