Abstract:For metal corrosion problems on grid equipments,the relationship between atmospheric corrosion of grid equipment and atmospheric pollutants and corrosion mechanism of the main pollutants such as SO₂,chlorides,H₂S to metals in grid equipments are analyzed.The corrosion status and corrosion types of the power transmission and distribution overhead wire & ground wire,transformer substations,towers and metal fittings are discussed.The corrosion control techniques and methods of grid equipments are summarized.And finally,further measures and recommendations to prevent atmospheric corrosion of grid equipment are proposed.
